Our Team Structure
We believe in providing a balanced and supportive environment for all our players, with a clear tiered approach for all age groups from U9 and above.
U7 & U8: At these foundational ages, we focus on enjoyment and development within a non-tiered, inclusive setting. We aim to operate two teams per age group—branded as Fire and Storm—ensuring that our players have the opportunity to play consistent, competitive football.
Competitive Opportunities & Pathways
We take pride in offering a comprehensive pathway tailored to the needs of our players:
Hampshire Girls Youth Football League: We provide dedicated opportunities for girls to compete in this league, forming the core of our development pathway.
Advanced Mixed Competition: For players seeking a higher level of challenge, we field all-girl teams in mixed competitions, specifically the Testway Youth Football League.
JPL Warriors: Representing the pinnacle of our competitive pathway, our JPL Warriors (all-girls squads) compete in the Junior Premier League framework, starting from U12 and above.
A Dynamic Development Pathway
Our structure is designed to be flexible. We provide opportunities for players to move between the Hampshire Girls Youth Football League teams and our more advanced teams (Testway or JPL Warriors).
To ensure every player is consistently in an environment that best supports their development, these placement reviews take place:
Mid-Season: Between October and February each season.
End of Season: During the transition to the following campaign.
