What a day for our U11s at Hamble Club Youth FC!
What a fantastic way to cap off the summer tournament season for our U11 Black and U11 Maroon teams today at Hamble Club Youth FC!
Our U11 Maroon team showed incredible resilience, starting slow but building momentum to finish second in their group by just one point! This earned them a spot in the semi-finals, where they faced off against our very own U11 Black team.
The U11 Black team had a strong group stage performance with one win and two draws, their only loss coming against the Maroons. The semi-final between our two teams was a nail-biting 12-minute battle! A set piece saw U11 Black score the decisive goal, sending them through to the final.
While the U11 Black team ultimately lost 1-0 in a hard-fought final, their valiant effort was truly commendable.
A huge well done to both our U11 Black and U11 Maroon teams for a superb display of teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship. You’ve made us proud!
